We’ve been to play at The Tree House Bookshop before, and given the opportunity we were delighted to return. Andrew and Andy played our first gig there last year, so armed with our instruments and Dave to the drummer we headed south to find the shop a changed place.
We played last night to a small audience at the Tree House Bookshop, in Kenilworth.
It was a fun gig, with a variety of music from us and very decent coffee and cake from our hosts. From a rough recording of the gig, we’ve pulled together a four track EP for your listening pleasure.
You can listen on our site, and via Bandcamp. If you want to download it at no cost, you can. More details of future gigs when we have some in the diary.
Next month, we (the members of Dischord) will be playing at the Tree House Bookshop in Kenilworth. We aren’t appearing as Dischord, but the principle is much the same.
It’s a bookshop. They sell books. They also sell coffee. Victoria who runs the place has a number of community aspects to the activity in her shop. She’s agreed to open the shop late, let us do a gig and pass a hat round at the end to cover the costs.
We think this is brilliant. It’s not an original idea, by any means, but it’s a good one. If you fancy coming to the gig, it’s on Nov 14th. Details are up on their website.
